Be Your Natural, Beautiful Self

Everyone wants to be naturally beautiful, but it's hard. Everyone wants to just wake up brush their hair and leave the house, makeup free, and feel confident and beautiful. So how? Well after a bit of research, I have some answers.

1) Get enough sleep
As hard as it may be with school work and your busy schedules, it may be really hard to get enough sleep, but trust it really does help. Sleep is really important for many reasons, that most of us know, but why is it important towards beauty?
  • Healthier looking skin, the more sleep you get the better your skin looks. Of course we can't control everything our skin does, but it helps to get sleep.
  • No Raccoon Eyes. Lacking Sleep can cause dark circles to form under your eyes. It also makes you eyes look brighter, because there are no dark circles.
2) Stay moisturized
This will give your skin a nice and even look, and give the impression of glowing skin. Make sure your moisturizer has sunscreen in it, so that the UV rays from the sun don't damage your skin. Also Drink a ton of water to keep your skin hydrated.

3) Avoid using heat on your hair
The more heat you use on your hair the more frail and broken your hair will get. The best thing to do is try and find some natural ways to get curls or waves, or use a product so the heat doesn't damage your hair.  Best products to use with heat.

*How To Get Natural Beach Waves*
Take 1 cup of warm water
1 tbs of sea salt
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp gel
Mix all of the ingredients in a spray bottle and shake, then spray in you hair to get natural beach waves.

4) Keep the makeup minimal
I'm one of those people that is fine with just wearing some concealer and mascara, but I understand if you don't. The one key to to wearing makeup is to always take it off before you go to bed. If you don't do this, then the makeup left on will clog your pores, making your situation worse than it was before.
